The only African pure play I am involved in is "African Gold Group Inc" and do make a bit of money on it.

For me to play an african play I would prefer a fairly stable government and also that this government if part owner. In this way there is some insentive to keep the plant up running and making money.

A friend of mine used to be pretty senior at Crystallex and I think that this shortend his life considerably. Just too many head aces in many of these places.
