Old Style Pilsner was first brewed in 1926 by Fritz Sick at the Sick's Lethbridge Brewery. The beer was and still is brewed after the famous formula of the House of Lethbridge.

pilsener (also pilsner or simply pils) is a type of pale lager beer. It takes its name from being developed in the 19th century in the city of Pilsen, Bohemia (Plzeň in the Czech Republic), where the original Pilsner Urquell beer is produced today.

In 1859, “Pilsner Bier” was registered as a brand name at the Chamber of Commerce and Trade in Pilsen.
