I went to Univ in the US, and have other US friends, mostly thru hunting. They are some of the best people you will find anywhere IMO. But, like us, their politicians can be screwballs! Have never caught on to how the Rep are so very cons on most issues and talk a conservative message financially, but DEBT!!!! They are addicted to the national credit card. Have heard from a couple US friends who I would say are a bit L of center, and think the health care bill they passed is a step to communism (my words).

BTW... does Helena Guergis fit as a hot Cdn politician that sticks her foot in her mouth??
