Market Jitters

posted on Oct 10, 2008 05:41PM

It seems the market jitters have gotten to me. I was looking forward to drinking a nice bottle of wine. I bought a bottle of Naked Grape Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Pelee Island Cabernet Sauvignon.

I grabbed the bottle of Naked Grape which I describe as refreshing with a nice heavy buzz, but I never got around to drinking it. Two seconds after taking it from the fridge I managed to drop it and smash it all over the kitchen floor. After a fifteen minute clean-up and a few profanities, I grabbed the bottle of Pelee. Which I am drinking at this moment. The whole incident I believe is attributed to "market jitters".

The market crash not only has affected my portfolio, but also threatened my ability to get drunk.

Cheers!
