Where to put some $$$$

This is an open question to my sage investor compadres.

I have been completely befuddled by the recent market developements.

Oil has taken a nosedive prior to winter - WTF!?!?

Gold does not seem to be responding to global concern and confusion.

So I ask...

Where should I put a little bit of money if I wanted to sell in 6 months? At this point I am looking to buy a home in Edmonton and would like to see some profit versus longtern hold.

I am leaning towards Goldcorp, but I also like Encana and Tristar Oil & Gas. Another past favoutite is Agrium (down 50% since May).

Simply put. Where do you folks see oil in 6 months vs. gold in 6 months?
