World Points Finger at USA

Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
By the way - those fingers are smeared with poo!
I am no fan of George Bush and his stolen presidency, but reading about all these world leaders pointing their fingers at the USA is laughable. UK, France, Germany, China and Russia have all had their own financial meltdowns and scandals (note that I just cleared my throat - SocGen). To imply that this financial crisis has its roots in America is ridiculous. Greed was not invented or perfected in the USA - it is a human condition. As for the "banana republics" and their poo-covered fingers - gimme a break!
The world needs change!
We need to change the way treat our neighbours.
We need to change the way we treat our environment.
We need to change the way we do business.
The Old World Order is wrong.
I am not advocating that we follow the David Suzuki model, but we need to fix the way we do things. Now these are pretty grandiose and easy statements to make. What can I as an individual do to assist these changes?
I was stumped at this point. There are many ideas. Some good. Some nonsensical. Am I the one who should lead these changes?
Yeah right!!!!
But here are some things that I have tried:
Being Debt Free! Who am I kidding? This is very tough to do in our modern economy. Buying a home usually means debt. Ditto for the automobile. Luckily, I have both paid off, but I wish that I had better. There is the conundrum.
WOW! I am now off topic on my original off topic. Beer does that. Since YOU are reading this, I can assume 2 things. You have some free cash to invest in the world markets and you are saavy enough to know how the world works. You and I are the ones who must initiate the charge the creates the New World Order. This will be an arduous task. It will not be completed in our lifetime. We are the seed that grows into a 1000 year old tree!
Stupid beer! But you get my picture.
Now that was a pant load. I can admit it. How can I spout off about change when I freely contribute to the ills that ail our society? I make money by investing in companies such as Encana. This means that I profit from some of the afformentioned greed.
You and I are not angels. Nor are we greedy criminals. But I think we are the folks who can slowly affect change. Call me verbose, ideological, or even an idiot.
So that was my rant. Picture me loud and drunk, standing in the towne sguare. Now try and tell me that you have not thunk some of the same thoughts!
