Burx, That is some very heavy stuff. I am going to my bank today and get my silver that I had ratholed in the safety deposit box. My savings is in my 401K which is in a Scottrade account. Scottrade is not an investment bank and money is not in their account. None of my money is leveraged their. SO I hope its somewhat safe. I have purchased all Canadian stocks in hopes that if the $dollar crumbles my investments will be in Canadian. I knew some of this stuff could happen but did not realize it was this close. I have called Scottrade twice to make sure money was not leveraged. They have sent email stating it was not to all members.
