Recieving Private messages...

Hi Group..
Do you know if there is a way to stop this site from sending me emails every time I get a message ?
Can we not just access them through the "Private messages " bug on the left hand side of the page..??
The messages are getting caught in my spam filters and are coming in duplicate and triplicate and is getting annoying and I'm getting grouchy and I might be tempted to slag a "Newbie" if I don't stop getting flooded with e-mails ..
