Yes, I have been in to solars a fair bit the last yr or so, a little less so now but still have a few names. I don't know much about nano, except it is one of these elusive holy grails.

I think 30 yrs or so ago solar cost 30x what coal did, now it is less than 2x and shrinking fast. I too have Arise. They were practically paid to come and set up in Germany which is the hub of solar energy (they are sending their biofuel plants here !). Also have Ascent (ASTI) which has great "roll to roll" technology, US gov't contracts and just signing deals to make solar roofing tiles for Europe. I think solar has a huge future, as it's output is greatest when most of the world needs the most power, midday. I think nuclear is needed too, but the NIMBY factor gets in the way a bit.
