Bacardi used to make the Real Thing when
they were still in Cuba. Now that they're
on other islands, commercial junk.
I've got a bottle in front of me right now.
You have to go there to get it - Ron (rum)
Caney Anejo Centuria. The real ones
(watch out for fake labels and fake bottle
caps) can only be bought in person in
Santiago, Cuba.
Every time I serve a bottle for sipping,
the women drink the whole thing in
about 25 minutes. Which can be a good
thing or a bad thing, depending.
It is redolent of sugar cane, vanilla,
Caribbean flowers, swaying hips, mmm.
Enjoy.
