I agree with you about nuclear and I am thinking about buying Cameco. I know they have flooding problems which may or may not be resolved, so I wonder what some of you think.

In terms of nuclear reactors there are 439 operating world wide, 34 are under construction and there will be at least 60 new ones in 15 years. I am not sure how quickly this will affect uranium demand since it takes a very long time to construct such reactors, but most likely the new plants will try to secur long term contracts long before they are complete. 60 new reactors on top of 439 present, will only lead to a 15-20% increase in demand(depending on the size of these reactors). It is not like suddenly the demand will double.

Lots of companies(KXL) are actively searching for new deposits and most likely some of them will find something economic. I therefore do not see lack of uranium deposits but maybe facilities to process this ore. Cameco processes all through its facilities in Blind River and then finally in Port Hope. I suspect that getting permits for new such processing facilities become next to impossible, so that any new uranium ores will still have to be sold/processed through Cameco's facilities. This should keep them humming.
