Puma Exploration Inc.: Gold Mineralization in Every Hole on the Little Stull Lake Property, Manitoba

RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 9, 2008) - Puma Exploration (TSX VENTURE:PUM) has received the results from the first nine (9) holes of Phase 1 of its drill program on the Little Stull Lake gold property in Manitoba. The two objectives of the drilling were to investigate the gold content over the full thickness of the basalt, and to confirm the presence of gold-rich zones.

All the holes intersected the mineralized basalt, which contains an average of three intersections of one metre in length with gold values ranging from 1 to 46 g/t Au. In addition, the holes intersected horizons containing 46.0 g/t Au, 15.6 g/t Au, 8.4 g/t Au, and 7.2 g/t Au.

After receiving the results from Phase 1 of its drill program, in which a total of 1,500 metres were drilled in the property's 11W Zone, the Company decided to proceed to Phase 2 of the program. This second 1,500-metre campaign targets the 3W Zone, located 800 metres west of the current work. Previous drilling in this zone intersected grades of 32 g/t Au, 24 g/t Au, 45 g/t Au, and 192 g/t Au over one metre of core.

With the last drilling program, Puma Exploration has earned from Tanqueray Resources (TQY-TSXV) more than 51% interest in the Property by completing all option conditions. Puma is the Project Manager of the Little Stull Lake property.

The Little Stull Lake property includes five (5) mineralized zones containing gold-bearing lenses, located along a major fault zone some 60 km in length. The gold-bearing basalt was followed for more than five km during previous drilling. Exploration Puma holds 100% of the mineral rights over more than 28 km of this major fault structure.
