... I must bid all of you adieu.
It has been quite a ride from The Golden Mile, to Magino and now, it seems, to Mexico. It looks like AR can, indeed, bring Magino to production from their internal cash flow (as per their presentation as of today). They have been looking at PDG for 10 months, and so are quite confident in the strength of this transaction for their shareholders. I wish I could say the same for us PDG longs. I can't. And so, I have moved on.
While I do regret today's announcement, what I don't regret is being a part of this Board for so long. It has been both fun and educational. Mostly fun.
My investment in Kodiak/Prodigy HAS been quite educational, and I have applied the lessons learned to my investment strategies: do not get emotionally involved in a company, do lots of DD, and then do it again, set limits to both losses and gains and act when those limits have been met, etc. You know - all the things that all of us longs here have had to learn or re-learn again.
So, thank you everyone for your contributions here over the years. I wish all of you well. And, who knows, we may still meet in Vegas ... life has an interesting way of surprising us.
M.
