Bonuses and stock options should only be given to managers who actually create profits for the company and the shareholders. In the case of an exploratory miner like ours no options or bonuses should be given until these folks have provided a record of steadily increasing stock prices. The problem is that the so called independent boards of directors of almost all companies are cronies of the president and other managers. They seem to inevitably nod, nod, wink, wink at whatever outrage the management decides to do. In addition, no member of any company board should be allowed to seve unless he/she has actual skin in the game. By skin I mean owning shares purchased with their own money and not on the backs of poor neglected shmucks like you and me. The same goes for the senior management.
