Portee,
Every small investor dreams of finding the "hockey sock full of gold " and selling it to some huge company with more money than brains. The reality is that buyouts especially at huge premiums are rare and almost non existant especially in the current economic environment. Think of all the gfold explorers in Canada alone and tell me how many have been bought out over the last few years at a big premium?
Mergers of small companies with other small companies are much more common due to the need to survive in some form.
We need to partner with a large company with the equipment and know how close by so as to be a win win for both sides. I would love to see us get bought out for a big profit but at these levels a !00% premium is still only $1.00!
I think we have to move towards production lie Osisco and look after ourselves.
Despite the recent problems Osisco is having, they have been the darling of gold explorers in recent times. Large open pit resource ina mining friendly jurisdiction. So why weren't they bought out long ago??
