I've been reading the Pele Mountain Highland Tech report. A couple of interesting facts so far:
1) The resource estimates reported very high grade cut-offs, higher than 5 g/t. These reports are older so the economic tonnages will be higher now.
2) PDG appears to have picked up the west half of the West Highland claim group, which includes the Talisker gold/diamond occurance. Diamond bearing mica kimberlite was encountered in a number of drill holes
3) A number of gold occurences were found on the east highland claim block in the 1990's with only limited follow up since then
4) The claims are situated on the main deformation trend that hosts the Magino mine
There's a lot to review but I wonder if PDG thinks, or has some evidence, that there is a low grade large tonnage possibility around these numerous surface/shallow depth gold showings. The previous exploration focus was on the thin, high grade veins which led Golden Goose astray. This property is looking like an excellent acquisition.
