Most of the world will have market close for three days. Canada will be closed four days which translates to a full two days behind Japan re-opening. In this topsy turvy world we are currently in there seem to be some "nervous nellies" who exit the market on such occasions and sit on the sidelines until things fully re-open.

I continue to believe that any tax loss activity relating to PDG is already close to a month behind us. With it likely that the PEA will be out in early January it would seem foolhardy for anyone who has a belief in the company to be on the outside at what could be "market moving news"(at least that is what most of us are hoping)

Tax loss in many other issues though is a very real thing. It finds me examining various stocks which have been driven to year lows to try to ascertain if perhaps they are now trading significantly below their apparent value. All the fun of the game and as Portee says "Cash is King" in such situations.

Don't think we can get "ripple" in British Columbia so will make do with a few Rum and Egg nogs this evening.
