Message: Reading a POG chart to suit one's outlook

Actually I am not trying to be profound. I will state my view plainly to you.

Bank of England head says today, problems are the worst faced perhaps "ever".

Buffett told Charlie Rose to days ago that Europe is kicking a can down the road and is nearly at the cliff. "at the cliff". He said also that Europe would be "stronger" ten years from now.

Republicans are saying no to everything Obama says and there is a whole year of this to come. So, uncertainty will rule the world for a year.

That means one better learn to read charts with a dispassionate, experienced eye, and quit listening to old men who are gold bugs and have enrichened themselves in the past decade, plugging a line that suits the emotional and the naive.

This is a new world Portree, and few have figured that out yet.

Some on this board have.
