Previous two weeks have been stockmarket writeoffs with a Canadian holiday on one and and an American holiday on the other. Lots of brokers take family vacations during that time.

Now we are a few weeks distanced from issuing of options etc. and with the raising gold prices this would make an opportune time to catch up on those outstanding assays. Having a nice little resultant price bump would no doubt brighten all of our summers.
