As of today, all my GGR shares have finally been converted to PDG shares.

I don't know what that will do to the market - if previous GGR shareholders will now be anxious to sell.

I DO know that I will never go through that sort of exercise again. Selling KXL to take advantage of the cheaper GGR shares ended up putting that whole portfolio in limbo for two months, for a gain of a few percentage points. In hindsight, it worked, but it wasn't worth loosing the ability to sell and it could have gone quite wrong.
