I think it is a pretty good deal for Kodiak, and in particular for the employee's (at least most) by increased job security beyond a year or two. They have the cash but unfortunately none of the past assests have brought much luck or future prospects.

I suspect most exploration will now shift to the new assets with a focus to get a small mine developed within a few years
