One worthwhile thing I have seen gleaned from house positions is that when one house does a large amount of exclusively buying or selling, it usually means that a large investor is getting in or out. So sometimes when there's an unexplained drop in share price and you see it's due to just one house selling, it may simply mean that one fund or investor is getting out- or maybe got a margin call. I'd prefer to see that rather than an unexplained selloff across all houses- then I worry.
