I appreciated that Gordo made contact with Brian and gave him a thumbs up for trying to extract information but there are a number of different types of preliminary results that may be released, usually because the share price is moving rapidly. You can release information like " visibly massive metallic mineralization" , " visible gold" or " anomalous radioactivity" without assay results. Hathor released the following in their Feb 26,2008 release " Drill core from hole MWNE-08-11 intersected a 20 cm thick zone of elevated radioactivity, ranging from 800 to 1200cps, compared to a background of 100-200 cps" and a lot more about other drill holes. They released the actual assay numbers on March 03,2008. We still don't know if any of the 5 new holes encountered anomalous results better than the WM-09-04 from last year and that would be significant. It would mean they could be zeroing in on the big one. They haven't finished drilling yet either. They are strong technically and I like the strategy as well. First they drilled a couple of wells on the Canalaska land to test some strong anomalies and satisfy the option requirements,then went back to our land to fence drill near the 09-04 well. If the first big strike occurs on the Kodiak 100 % land then you get the best bang on the share price.
