Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I think someone a while ago mentioned your propensity for "microanalyzing" any comment and then proceeding to pick them apart.
The term "paper" loss means that one has experienced a lower valued portfolio but has yet to solidify the loss by completing a transaction as in "sale". It truly is a "paper" loss because the tax man won't give you any credit until you dispose of the asset. Jeeeeeeez. The same is true by the way for "paper gain". It's not a real gain until you sell it and have the folding green.
The over-riding point was that our group is composed of person's with diverse "break-even" levels thus the understandable higher level of disappointment amongst those who have experienced rather dramatic comebacks. For those persons who have experienced the substantial downturn, they should ask themselves if they still see value in the company at today's price. Do they feel there is a significant probability that KXL will appreciate from these levels. If they feel that way, then they should consider the "average down" process by purchasing more and thus bringing their "profitability" point within perhaps more reachable price points.
If they don't see any chance of appreciation then they definately should not "throw good money after bad". In my case I always try to value things "in the moment" and not try to focus too, too much on what caused my original decision. To give my thought some context I should say that my original involvement was based on the Caribou nickel property. That issue obviously has very little significance in whatever I decide in today's market.
One issue that has been mentioned is the lack of "insiders" stepping up to the plate. It has been mentioned and bears repeating that if they have access to substantive information that has not been released to the general public they are prohibited from adding (or subtracting) from their holdings. If they did the same posters raising that issue would accuse them of insider trading.
I choose to believe that the company will release the National Instrument information before month end which means eleven more trading days. I will await the release of that information and guage the market reaction before rethinking my "long" position.
