Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
... is nonexistent. Hmm. If there's real value here, you'd think some insiders would at least throw $1000, or $500, or $100 into the hat. $50. Ten bucks. Throw us a nickel, whatever. Zero insider buying, same as it's been for a long, long time:

Whereas, for example, one of us - mzsmith - posted this week past that he stepped up to the plate with significant "honest money": $37,000 as I count it:

Where is the insider response? Are they saying they still don't see value at the current price? I know a lot of good companies where the key people, President on down, constantly buy a bit of their own stock - they "eat their own cooking", so to say, and they are happy doing it. They understand the company and they see value.
I am not complaining, I am making an analytical observation.
At least the big players, funds and/or insiders aren't shorting the stock - we had an enormous short position 2+ years ago. Easy to do from your wife's account when you can lend her the shares (I understand that "loophole" is supposed to be closed this October - we'll see if anything changes in reality). My contact to Union Securities tells me it was the Wild West with people who knew better and this stock, back when the shorts were on.
I think the current crew are on the "up and up", but at the same time it's a heckuva lot easier being "in the same boat" when what you're risking are options that cost nothing. I'll give Brian credit for having paid real cash for some of his shares, and the Richardsons, even if they got their stock for pennies, have been patient. But there's been no buys at any recent time. No insiders buying stock. I pay attention to that. I am listening, and I hear a big silence.
Kudos to those who put up the honest-money - i.e. largely the people on this board.
Personally I think Milestone is a great play, and would even be marginally mineable at the current grades, even if that's 0.7g/t. Of course, as they go east and west on-strike, we are certainly hoping for much more attractive grades - e.g. 2-5g/t kind of thing. The geology is good, so we'll see from drilling. The fact that the majority of drilling this year is on Milestone says something to me.
Golden Pond - as much as we've developed doubts about the GM, Golden Pond is at the confluence of 2 major subsurface anomalies and I think it's certainly worth going after. The GM may not be a bonanza, but I believe it might be mineable. The sentiment pendulum has probably swung too far on this play. I still welcome the 43-101, and Kodiak will build on it.
West Millennium - very nice potential, but really we don't know. Could go any way. A wild card. Other prospects are somewhat in the same category, although I like the high grades along WG.
If we acquire ounces, that's great too. The bottom line is that after the years we've waited, we have to advance to pre-production. That's where the real value lies - that's what the market rewards - a realistic prospect on the horizon of going into production.
