I have been reading a lot of reports from junior gold companies recently in the Northern Ontario region, and have noticed a number of results obtained from drilling on lakes. A few even mentioned that they have about three weeks of ice drilling left before Spring break up.

I was just curious why these companies seemed to have no problem with drilling on ice this winter, while Kodiak couldn't do it on the Golden Pond. Any ideas?
