For such a low grade ore, it is absolutely essential that the ore starts at or very close to the surface. You can not afford to blast through 50 m depth or barren rock to get to the ore. For low grade open pit the geometry of the ore body is essential, not just tonnage and grade. The deeper the ore, the wider the top rim.

Also, an open pit ore should be as continuous as possible, if it exists in spots or 'veins' you still have to blast whatever is in between and your effective grade drops.

To be pretty frank with you guys I already more or less had decided to sell the rest of my Kodiaks, but I will use this week to re-evaluate the milestone project again.

Otherwise the rest is a bust, however we may get the lucky hit we all deserve
