Very interesting.

I know that my info is "he said - she said", but I was talking to a buddy of mine from Geraldton last night. They are friends with a PG employee who said PG has the goods, just needs to prove it up further.

This stuff is fuelling the relocation rumours for some Geraldton residents. If PG goes through with their open pit, look for a diversion of the Trans Canada Highway 11 and Highway 584.

I believe KXL's West Geraldton is in an area along the powerline skidoo trail and over towards Blueberry Hill. Its about 5-7 kms north of PG's Tenacity and North zones on the north side of Kenogamisis Lake/Barton Bay. Unlike the PG site which is mixed in with old mines, the West Geraldton area was never mined with the same intensity. Most of the Geraldton area mines were south of town along the current highway corridor.

As with most of the BG area, West Geraldton has been heavily explored at the surface, but the low gold price at the time prevented deeper exploration. I guess we'll see how this all pans out.
