Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
just read your post red
There have been hints here from many that KXL will be 'a new company' come PDAC and that this 'new company' will be revealed going into or during PDAC... I hope they are right and that things start to flow the way KXL head honchos have planned...
so what could that be.....part of the problem with kxl is that it is an exploration company that is more like a conglomerate....that is the sum of its parts is not reflected in the share price....the conglomerate generally can take money from a profitable portion of the company and redirect it to other potentially money making opportunities.....kxl does not by itself have a revenue stream...so it always has to go to the marketplace for additional money.....we were lucky to be able to raise 14,000,000.....but at a cost...increased dilution both for the insiders and retail investors....and without any super results this practice will continue....until a critical mass of shares will exist that makes going to the market prohibitive on a risk reward for the potential future investor...which can only mean more dilution and a lower share price.....
i can see where eventually the insiders and retail investors will come to a meeting of minds....the sum of the parts has to be bigger than the whole.....i suspect that the board of directors will spin off the uranium assets/the non beardmore assets into three or four companys....with kxl still controlling the plays and potential future benifits...now this is a major paradigm shift as it would permit these spinoffs to go to the market place for funding on their own.....the dilution as it pertains to kxl would be reduced somewhat but it certainly would be less than if we continue to to fund all the plays....that being said if great results suddenly come from any of the plays this idea would be delayed in its implementation.....but eventually it will happen.... dilution is okay but in the long run value has to be created to the shareholder in exchange for that dilution.....heres hoping that the next 3-6 months will prove that the dilution was worth it...
