"KXL could anounce they bought Sage"...

I still say there is value to be had through a KXL and SGX merger.. form completely new entity... despite having large share count SGX does have second largest BG land position including some advanced high quality projects that would complement KXLs BG massive land position and project pipeline... Golden Extension (tie up entire Hercules discovery)... Jacobus Cu-Ni (possible larger source at depth)... Onanman Cu-Ag-Au (open pittable NI 43-101)... Paint Lake (next to Brookbank)... etc... not to mention just acquired 60% option on Timmins Clavos MINE.... a more advanced property than any property either SGX or KXL owns and actually produced gold not quite 3 years ago... didn't someone here say Brian indicated picking up property in other gold camps like Timmins?... to me Clavos MINE actually looks an awful lot like what the Golden Mile will likely look like in a couple of years... ramps and shafts mining out high-grade blobs of ore... sending ore to nearby mill... merger with SGX would give them that and cash flow to go along with it in very short order IMO... KXL could still spin-off uranium assets with some cash into a seperate company to existing KXL shareholders and retain Kodiak Exploration name... there is no doubt the true value of KXL assets is not being reflected in its share price... some creative consoidation and re-organization could go a long way for shareholders IMO. Just a thought. Comments?

FWIW I was involved in Exall-Southern Star = Golden Eagle (later bought out by Goldcorp, very lucrative for EXL and SSR shareholders) merger in Red Lake a few years ago... at that time Exall also had energy assets which were spun out into separate Exall Energy company and retained by existing Exall shareholders.

When the time is right tremendous value is created by these sorts of transactions... trying to 'go it alone' all the time may eventually get you in the same place but is often a much longer and more expensive route.
