Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Just to make it clear - I very much value the negative posts just as much as the positive - not once have I ever said to the contrary - so long as people are decent etc. to each other, we need the criticisms and even bitching just as much as anything else. When I say "onwards and upwards" there is no rah rah to it - I'm saying men and women let's take stock of our situation and then get the job done. Which I think they and us are doing. Many of you have spoken to me on the phone and you know I'm no cheerleader.
Good posts today from all sides - yup, negative and positive. Northvalue, thanks in particular for digging up the exact share option divvyup. I'm ok with it - their options are even more under the strike price now, there is no doubt they want it to go up more than ever.
Insider sale - without wanting to violate privacy I can 100% confirm that the insider sale was for totally personal reasons under which everyone and anyone on this board would have done exactly the same thing - family matter. Portee had the right general feeling about it although the facts were different - not options, but personal. I can't imagine KXL issuing a NR to explain something like that. I suppose Brian could have taken me aside at the AGM and made a short sentence about it, but he had a lot more of import to say at the time. 20-20 hindsight, if if if, if my aunt had b_lls she'd be my uncle. Tempest in a teapot.
Explorationguy - the right vision about how a mine will work. Premier will announce 1.x million ounces this month/next (everyone, including them, expects - the longer they wait the bigger the x gets), GRC has a 43-101 for a million oz in the area, and we'll probably announce guessing?? 1/3 million but eventually grow it to a million. If things look good at Milestone that could be another sizeable deposit to add on. Etc. Regional mill likely, esp. as everything is strung out along the #1 highway.
I have been plenty negative about KXL at times - esp. the long "death valley" 5 month news drought of last year, yeesh, that was unconscionable. I usually come to a positive conclusion because I've been on site twice, walked most of the properties, taken my own samples, interviewed all the geologists, asked all my consultants and that's my conclusion. I am not positive because of some Aqavit, scotch, ripple or key lime pie I had - I am just fanatically motivated to do a lot of DD. Mostly because this stock cost me a million and somehow I have the mistaken idea that a lot of hard work will somehow lift the markets. Well even if that's not true, the DD is worth it. The only thing that will raise the stock price is some serious finds.
Hemlo was just like this process, by the way.
