Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
griz and all the others who have given positive feedback: thanks very much, makes a big difference, much appreciated. I definitely get a lot more than I give from the great posts on this board - lots of eagle eyes and creativity in thinking. I like to write because it helps me think out loud - if I can't make it make sense to myself then probably it doesn't make sense.
Sleeping Giant is definitely still on the list, and not necessarily for base metals. It has taken a while for KXL to understand its structure - it apparently runs more E-W like the Portage, whereas it was assumed to run more N-S parallel to GM. Kaby Lake has had work and is definitely still on the list.
KXL is being a lot more parsimonious about spending money (notwithstanding little rascals ripping off the show booty :) ) and drilling 4 prospects simulateously in the middle of Winter is already a very good program. I think we'll see additional activity on Sleeping and Kaby when the geological case for drilling "right now" gets strong enough.
Re: staying invested in KXL, I review KXL with my investing buddies constantly. Today I was re-living the moment way way back when we had the really long really bad press release full of unimpressive holes that the stock dropped with, nearly two years ago now I think, and Portee (I think it was - or gamblor) called it something like a stock killer. Truth was, they were right (and I goofed by mostly holding on, mea culpa). So it's sad that a take-it-to-the-bank success didn't come with spending that huge whack of money to that point. Really sad.
However, today is today and I take the Warren Buffett decision to it every day: if I didn't own any KXL, given all the prospects and how strong they are, would I buy it at this price? Well, I definitely would - I think it's a serious bargain - and I continue adding, but do your own DD. I have plenty of selfish reasons for wanting this to be successful - i.e. my own shareholding. Heck after what investors have gone through, fire and brimstone and all, we really seriously deserve a success.
