Well It is Friday and another trading and speculating day..

We better pray for cold weather to thicken that ice for the drill rig...

One of the targets is the golden pond with work already being done to make sure the ice is thick enough for the drill rigs.

Once it is thick enough to support some light plow equipment they will plough the ice clean where they want to drill and get down to straight ice.,,,.No snow..snow is an insulator and will weaken the ice..then the crew bores a hole in the ice and inserts a decent pump and starts to flood the cleaned out area to build a support pad..something like a pitchers mound..this thickens the ice from the top down and gives the drill the support it requires..It is not the weight of the drill itself that will sink it..it is the vibration..

A semi trailer tractor left idling on an ice road that will support 200 ton loads will break trough the ice in a few hours if left idling in one spot..

Hope to drill on the ice..but it can be drilled from shore on an angle but better straight down..shorter distance.

Anyway ..almost market time..Good luck to all you KXL groupies..
