You can’t handle the news

Son, we live in a world that has gold and that gold needs to be found by men with drills. Who's gonna do it? You? You, (red, rattle, roon, riko, rau, rmn, ramino, roose, rosmo, rake)? Brian has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep because of no $$$ and curse Kodiak; you have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what Brian knows: that the low share price, while tragic, probably makes Brian’s Plan workable and that his existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, will save Kodiak and create one of the greatest area plays in history.

You don't want the news because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want Brian on that drill, you need him on that drill. We use words like bonanza, pay-dirt, eureka. We use them as the backbone of a life trying to produce something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very fortune that Brian will provide and then questions the manner in which he provides it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a rod and man a drill. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

Note: A little take-off from Jack Nicholson’s performance in “A Few Good Men.”

No offense intended, just a bit o humor.
