dwkerr,
Thaks for the response. I think my confusion has been mistaken for ignorance or a lack of DD- though I do plead guilty to not being as familiar with the field as many others on the board. I finally figured out that Kodiak's "technical assessment" refered to their "Technical Report on the Hercules Property" dated last February and which I read when it was released last April. The way Kodiak mentioned it in their press release I thought there was something new that they had just completed. The report looks like a standard 43-101, outlining the history and geology of the area, sampling and assay methods, etc. The main difference from the 43-101s I'm familiar with is that under the section "Mineral resource and mineral reserve estimates" they simply say that no estimates have been evaluated for the property. I'm used to seeing 43-101s that tell you what they think they have- which to me is the primary purpose of a report like this. All the rest in this particular report was either pretty well known (history, geology), or fairly standard practice (sampling and analytical methods).
