Thanks W'cat...

That is certainly an improvement on what I looked like a few weeks ago...but I have looked worse...

Back when I was young and foolish stationed in Italy in the late '60's and just having arrived from Canada was not yet acclimatized and on landing began ,like all good airman must do..check out the booze and broads and after a few days of this was felled by dehydration...

Was down for the count..weak...sick...hung over..etc..

The cure/...??

salt tablets and water and food..

Had to lay off the booze for a whole week..

We were only 80 miles across the Med from Tunisia and August heat blowing in off the dessert was so hot that the salt was evaporating across the beaches and highway in finger drifts ..like snow ..from the splashing of the waves and spray..windy and hot as hell..

Ya ..man I was dry....more wrinkles on me than a worried prune..!!

Any way it is Sunday night..Tomorrow I'll be in KXL zone and posting some more on the issues at hand..

Thanks again to all of you for being here and glad to be back..

Portee
