I think KXL-SGX merger would make a ton of sense and have posted about similar if not identical arrangement in the past...

Combined management (i.e. Nigel Lees as CEO? and Brian Maher as President) structure would also be favorable for both companies IMO... I did think it a little suspicious when Brian Maher was not named both President AND CEO... indicated to me the search for a real CEO (no offence to Terrance King) was still on... maybe it still is?... Nigel Lees with all his experience and contacts would be perfect fit IMO... on the board of Yamana Gold... TVX Gold... etc... for those who don't know Kinross Gold owns about 8-9% of outstanding shares of SGX...

re: 'hush-hush' about area in between SGX and KXL... that is very true. KXL has had many people in the field this year and last stripping and trenching and sampling but we have never heard anything about discoveries much more to the NW than Golden Pond in quite a while... no talk of more veins... no samples... nothing. What SGX has publicly released about what they discovered to the far NW of the SGX-KXL property bourdary seems somewhat different than KXL GM structures... i.e. high concentration of criss-crossing veins compared to NWerly trending veins... Neither company has (publicly) said what can be found as they move towards each other... maybe 2 different events put this gold here and these events 'meet' somewhere in between?... underground... if so having both companies 'as one' would be a smart move.

The B-G area will consolidate... KXL and SGX merger is a possibility.

Just some probably 'out there' thoughts on this... but hey... there's not much else to do but speculate at this stage until we hear something new/different.

How about this WAG?

Pardon me for letting my mind wander while I patiently wait for drill results.

(Keep in mind that these numbers are only ballpark values.)Feel free to add more accurate numbers.Just trying to consider another option that could add overall value and gain more attention in the mining community.

Consider the following:

1.Kodiak and Sage field offices are both located next door to Kodiak’s core shack.

2.Both companies have been hush-hush about assay results on the area between Sage’s GE and Kodiak’s GM.

3.Combined, they have what seems to be around 75% of the claims in the BG gold camp, with many of their larger holdings adjacent to each other.

4.Kodiak’s SP is 8 to 10 times the value of Sages.A conversion of 8 Sage shares to one Kodiak share and combining the 2 companies would add approx. 30 M shares to Kodiak’s approx 100M.

The end result would be a lion’s share of an entire area play with over 2500 sq. Km. of land and about 130 M shares.

Would this be a viable consolidation?

Could this be why Bill Chornobay resigned?

Could Brian Maher have come to the conclusion that the combined GM and GE, “Golden 10 Mile”, will be the best way to develop a profitable mine?

Will this consolidation allow it to be economically feasible to build a nearby milling facility?

Am I just a rambling old fool with a lot of off-the-wall questions?
