Good post. The notion that SGX isn't a continuation of KXL's GM is a red herring. What the situation is (having visited in person) - the GM itself veers off to the NE, and splits into a number of sub-veins, before proceeding on to the SGX property.

The prospecting between these subveins, beyond Golden Pond, and on to SGX just hasn't been done - it's in progress now. The geophysics have been done, but not the channeling and drilling. However, there is a very strong indication that they continue on to the SGX veins.

The whole area is run through with veins, rather like marbling in a good steak. No, the GM doesn't continue through straight like an arrow onto SGX - the veins diverge and regroup.

Hope that helps. I've been on the ground to see SGX's sampling as well.

It's very hard to keep in mind that there is a whole host of vein systems parallel to the GM that may be longer, deeper, richer, or whatever. Some have been prospected just a tiny bit (7 of 9, Marino etc), but for the most part the map is just empty - there hasn't even remotely been the time or the resources to explore even a piece of it. We can't fault mgmnt for focussing on the GM, because we've proven that there is gold there, and the market respects a 43-101. However, there may well be veins that are much richer parallel to the GM - there just hasn't been the chance to explore them. The geophysics indicates that the parallel veins extend for tens of miles perpendicular to the GM. For the most part, the other ground that KXL holds is just blank in that regard - terra incognita. I believe KXL's land holdings in the area span a width of 140km (or was it miles?). Lots anyways.

Reminds me of reading about when the first explorers reached North America. They looked for gold on the east coast and didn't find it, and wrote off the continent. Who knew that eventually most of the gold would show up on the western edge?

KXL has had a chance to sample/drill only the tiniest little percentage of the property that the airborne geophysics has suggested may be rich. If we can prove up enough using the proven prospects we have so as to interest the markets and get a buyout on a part of the property, we might eventually get enough money to explore the rest. A good example of this phenomenon is Kaby Lake / Gold Rush - until a year ago we'd never heard of it. Now we're looking at an ore zone 100++ meters wide (we'll hear more about exactly how wide in the next NR). Ditto Wild Goose or whatever it's called, far to the NE of the GM. Example of more of the great unknowns in the KXL property - a truly vast territory, thousands of square km in size.
