Good conversation, people!
Drilling 1000m costs more like $70k, which would give us just shy of 7000 m. Give or take. Average of about 350 m a hole.
The intention around Golden Pond was to drill a bunch of shallower holes. So I'm figuring a bunch of shallow, and one or two 1000m. If deeper, I'll be delighted. But drilling a 1000m hole takes 2-4 weeks, so that really cuts into progress and limits how many holes you can get from one drill. Give the drill angle and vein dip, depth is about 70-80% of the drill string.
There is considerable difficulty and environmental wrinkles to getting into the swamp around Golden Pond to drill it - it's not accessible from the GM roads. Probably hard enough to get two drills in.
There is nothing but good about being at GoldenPond. It is an extension of the Golden Mile. There just happens to be a pond in the way, so Bill Chornobay named it Golden Pond. The veins under Golden Pond and beyond up to SGX veer off to the NW somewhat, to meet up with SGX, and they also fork into multiple veins. I'm enthusiastic about it!
Note also on SGX level 2, the current bids at 0.065 are for 1,017,000 shares, and for 800,000+ at the next two bid prices. Some interest in SGX today.
