Would seem KXL has been VERY busy (and I mean VERY busy... check out numbers below) in 2009 in claim 3006395... this is the claim block that contains 'Golden Pond'... and is about 600-700m NW from approximate center of highest grade section of Golden Mile. Previous drilling (2007 and 2008) in this area surrounding 'Golden Pond' is detailed on Slide 12 of latest KXL Corporate Presentation.

According to CLAIMaps...KXL has performed a whopping $465,906 worth of drilling in this claim block in just the latest round of exploration that started just months ago. For comparison... Slide 12 of the latest presentation depicts previous 2007 and 2008 drilling in this claim block that, according to CLAIMaps, totalled about just $200,000... Therefore, this current program has increased drilling in this single claim block (in and around Golden Pond) by an additional $250,000.

With just 1 drill I think it is safe to say this is alot of drilling and would likely have to contain a deep hole or 2 or 3 or 4. To rack up those kind of dollars with just 1 drill in just 3 or so months you would have to be going deep IMO.

To illustrate just how much $465,906 is... compare to previous work in the area of orignial swiss-cheesed GM discovery in claim 3006416... according to CLAIMaps... KXL spent $240,000 in 2007 drilling this claim and another $150,000 thus far in 2009... nowhere near the $465,906 just posted for 2009 alone drilling 'Golden Pond' claim...

IMO I cannot see them spending such a large amount in and around 'Golden Pond' if they were not onto something.
