Tibber, you are spot on.

I guess what we need is some middle ground.

Companies need to use a little more honesty and clarity in their information circulars. And investors need to do a lot more homework!

Kodiak is exploring properties with known histories for gold production, the right geology and VG at the surface. These are the things that got me looking in their direction. After doing some research, it is the intangibles that got me to buy their shares.

Since I was familiar with the Geraldton story; and fought wildfires on what are now KXL claims, I chose to roll the KXL dice. Other folks may use a "whim and a prayer" to pick stocks.

The bottom lines:

There are hundreds of Canadian mineral exploration companies. All have great websites that use various "language" to get you interested. Many will have some guy show up on BNN and say how they really like the company. And unfortunately, a few will not be totally honest with us.

With the information that I was able to find, I think KXL is a good company with real potential. They are worthy of my money.
