In one of the source provided in "How Much is That Uranium Worth", they pointed out that there is a huge shortage of uranium looming. The current production figures don't even go half way to meeting the current demand. So what gives?
We have had a huge overhang of supply from the decommissioning of Russian weapons. That process is now essentially complete - which means that the uranium market is quickly going back to a real market.
Big price pressure upwards, from all the sources I've consulted. There have been a good number of reactors added worldwide even though not in Canada or the US, and production of uranium has not increased.
