Perhaps you haven't been keeping up with American (US) culture- Americans eat all their meals out. The only difference the economy makes is whether they eat at Mickey D's or Applebee's. All those transport trucks you see are carrying food- wouldn't want to miss a 5,000 calorie meal. You might starve.

I will be interested in your report on the alcoholic beverage industry and the various suppliers (bars, etc.). Be sure to make your report as comprehensive as possible.
