PDAC

I was at the PDAC today and was able to speak with Brian Maher at the booth for about 1/2 an hour. I was also at the Kodiak presentation delivered by Brian.

The presentation has been tweaked a bit. It is shorter. More succint. The info in the presentation was the same info that is public knowledge, other than a picture of the West Millenium cores. There were more hard hitting questions/points made by some of the attendees than usual. Such as the propensity of Kodiak to overpromote. I will say, when I talk to other exhibitors about Kodiak, the phrase 'good promoters' often comes up. One attendee (who posts occasionally on this board) was quite straightforward with how he felt that it was time to stop promoting (too much fluff), and start delivering the goods. There was an open and frank discussion between the few attendees and Brian and Trevor Bremner. Some people thought the shareprice was languishing due to over-promotion and underdelivering, whereas others (myself) thought it had to due with overall market sentiment. Anyways, it was the most open discussion of the four or five presentations that I have attended.

The main theme that Brian Maher was trying to get across is that Kodiak is now an 'exploration and development' company, rather than strictly an 'explorer'. There has been a major shift in the management, and direction of, Kodiak. I believe that Kodiak will now proceed towards being a producer. You can bet darn sure that they will start the development process on the Golden Mile. They want to be perceived as a company that is moving forward. Those of you who speculated that there was a reason for the recent changes at Kodiak were absolutely correct. Look for news regarding this new direction.

The drill program for the GBM camp will be significantly reduced to conserve cash. They will concentrate the drilling on delineating, and expanding, the East and West veins in the Golden Mile. The 'All In' budget for this year is 8.5 million dollars.

They hope to have a new CEO asap.

A photo of the cores of the recent drill hole at West Millenium was in the presentation. Brian and Trevor both seemed excited and optimistic about the potential there as the cores exhibited all the traits of rock that is usually/often found near uranium deposits.

Otis is in the middle of nowhere and will probably be on the back burner for awhile.
