Actually, I did! I have done this before with companies that have similar patterns within the same industry. I have found that there are some that seem to be the canary in the coal mine, and if one takes a downturn one day, the other will likely follow a day, week or two weeks later. Have only traded on this once or twice, and on companies I was already looking at. With one company's chart in the forefront, and the other's ghost image behind, you can sometimes find out if one is a leader, the other a follower. Often, you get no real pattern.
OK, it is Kindergarten technology, but I also heard NASA spent millions tring to make ball point pens work in outer space with little success while the Russians just packed pencils! Simple soloutions.
