The recent burn rate was to a great extent due to an agressive drilling program. I'm sure their baseline rate is much lower. They can conserve cash simply by scaling back the drilling program until the overall financial situation improves. Not what any of us would like to see, but maybe the best course of action in this financial environment. They may scale back to drilling only the most prospective sites, and leave the others for later. In a case like this you have to trust management to make the right decisions, and I KXL has good management.
