you picked ofcourse the year(1980) of highest gold price to try to show your point. You know as well as me that the gold price has varied, I picked 1975 since that is the first year I have all the data(gold price, toronto housing and the exchange rate). If I picked 1976 or 1977 gold would done even better. By coming out with generalizations etc you just can't pick a date of your choosing. People at this forum knows better.

Statisitics is interesting, but what it hides is usually even more intereting.
