Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Ganalane,
I wasn't suggesting a share buyback, where a company buys the shares for cancellation to lower shares outstanding.
I was thinking about the company buying the shares as a short term investment, keeping them in a trading account. No shares cancelled or issued. They could buy up the shares of weak hands thus adding strength to the sp. By spending ,or better said "investing" in themselves let's say $5 million, they would still have $25 million in the bank and up to 10,000,000 shares that should be able to be sold in a year or so for profit. This profit would ensure extra money being available for exploration , infrastructure or even building a mine!
The $25,000,000 still in the bank could last the company about 2 1/2 years. If the company has no faith that the sp will be greater than .54 within 2 1/2 years, what the hell are we doing here ??? Are we bigger fools than we think??
Just my thoughts! Rico
