"We still believe that there is potentially a coarse gold issue and that the grades of the drill holes could be understated."
I find this a very interesting tidbit of information National decided to insert in their latest coverage report. I am by no means a geologist but it sounds like this possibility could mean big increases in 'true' amount of gold in the ground, not currently reflected in standard assays. Anyone shed more light on this?
Maybe this is part of what ongoing metallurgical tests (as explained in latest NR) will address:
"In order to verify metallurgical properties and move the Golden Mile forward to a new stage, a series of metallurgical tests of surface and core samples from the Golden Mile is under way. These tests will determine the basic metallurgical properties of the vein material, including the amenability of that material to conventional milling techniques, an important first step in determining the full economic potential of this impressive gold mineralized system."
Could be interesting.
