To get the real stuff you have to look at the inside of the lable of the bottle. You have to buy linje(line) akvavit, this is akvavit that has crossed the equator(the line) on a ship for aging purposes, with the boat rolling etc. On the back side of the lable, the name of the ship is given, and also the date when it crossed the 'line'. Remember, ice cold!
